Friday was a powerful night. We had nearly 40 people at our worship night encountering the Father's heart for them and passionately expressing their love, gratitude, and adoration to the King of Kings. One student present, Zack, had come the week prior for the first time who had never previously set foot in a Christian meeting. He came to our worship night, experienced the presence of God, and came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior a few days later!! Thank You, Jesus!!!
So Friday night, we planned a baptism for Zack after our worship night. As we finished our meeting, 2 other students, Nick & Katie, expressed their heart to also get baptized because of what God had done in their lives! So we made our way to a local apartment complex where 25 students huddled around the gate of a swimming pool to watch as 3 of their fellow students made a public declaration of their faith in the waters of baptism! It was SO powerful!!
God is really establishing a powerful work at KU. I believe that what God is establishing at KU will become a training center for those who are going to be sent to the ends of the earth to pioneer prayer & missions in the unchurched, unreached nations of the world!
Please continue to pray for the University of Kansas, for our team of student leaders, and for all the students that God has brought us to train and disciple. Pray that God would continue to draw hearts to Himself, reveal Jesus to them, and ruin them with superior pleasure of fully knowing & wholeheartedly pursuing Jesus Christ as Lord.
His,
-thai-
